JANUARY

1st = Bank Holiday (New Year's Day).

21st = Bank Holiday (Martin Luther King).

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Individuals: Pay the first installment of your estimated tax for the prior year.

31st = 940 & Pay FUTA tax File, File Form 941 and DE6 for the 4th Q of the prior year, CA DE7, W-2s and 1099s.

Beverly Hills and Torrance City Tax Due

FEBRUARY

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Secure a new Form W-4 from any employee who claimed "exempt" during the previous year.

12th = Banking Holiday (Lincoln's Birthday)

18th = Banking Holiday (Presidents' Day)

29th = Culver City Tax & Los Angeles City Tax Due

MARCH

17th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Corporations: File the prior year's tax return (Form 1120 or Form 1120A), S Corporations: File the prior year's tax return (Form 1120S). Provide shareholders with a copy of Sch. K-1.

31st = Banking Holiday (Cesar Chavez Day)

APRIL

1st = Los Angeles County 571L due

10th= Individuals: Last day to pay Property Tax 2nd Installment

15th Tax Day = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Individuals: File Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ and CA 540, 540A or 540EZ and pay any tax due, Individuals: Pay the first installment of your estimated tax for current year, Partnerships: Electronically file prior year's tax return (Form 1065). Provide each partner with a copy of Sch. K-1, Corporations: Deposit the first installment of your estimated tax for the current year, LLPs, LLCs and Corporations: Deposit Estimated Taxes with your State Income Tax form.

30th= Deposit FUTA tax owed through March if $500 or more; File Form 941 and DE 6 for the 1st quarter.

MAY

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors)

26th = Banking Holiday (Memorial Day)

JUNE

16th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Individuals: Pay the 2nd installment of your estimated tax the current year, Corporations: Deposit the 2nd installment of your estimated taxes for the current year.

JULY

4th = Banking Holiday (Independence Day)

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors)

31st= Deposit FUTA tax owed through June if $500 or more; File Form 941 and DE 6 for the 2nd quarter.

AUGUST

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors)

28th = Los Angeles County Business Property Tax Payments Due

SEPTEMBER

1st = Banking Holiday (Labor Day)

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Individuals: Pay the 3rd installment of your estimated tax the current year, Corporations: Deposit the 3rd installment of your estimated taxes for the current year.

OCTOBER

13th = Banking Holiday (Columbus Day)

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors)

31st = Deposit FUTA tax owed through September if $500 or more; File Form 941 and DE 6 for the 3rd quarter.

NOVEMBER

11th = Veterans Day

17th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors)

27th and 28th = Banking Holiday (Thanksgiving Day and day after)

DECEMBER

10th = Individuals: Last day to pay Property Tax 1st Installment

15th = Payroll Tax Deposits (Monthly Depositors), Corporations: Deposit the 4th installment of estimated tax the current year.

25th = Banking Holiday (Christmas Day)

31st = Individuals: Last Day to Pay State Taxes for Federal Deduction on Schedule A, if qualified for deduction.

Please don't forget to calendar your insurance policy renewals as well. Semi-Monthly depositors should check with their accountant or bookkeeper for those due dates or consult Federal Publication 15.
